my life is droll

I really don’t care if people are even reading this thing; I’m assuming they do, and don’t leave comments, which is fine. the point is that I write here because it’s a total creative outlet for me… I love it, it lets me express myself. thanks, blogging!

how was this past week, you ask? well, Ryerson Frosh – my third frosh, that is! well, my floor is really friendly-happy-chill-together – which is exactly what we wanted! it’s pretty wonderful. there’ve been lots of enjoyable frosh events that I’ve attended/helped to organize, i.e. Residence Council Day (think Superbad-themed stations for all,) Damian the X-Rated hypnotist, and Josey Vogels’ sex talk! highly enjoyable.

I had a casting for Sears thursday morning … REALLY far away, somewhere near Jane & Finch. (what’s that?) it was sketch & random. I’ve also applied for an internship with TVO Kids … we’ll see how that goes! and I’ve also yet to decide whether or not I’m going back to Abercrombs, we’ll see.

furthermore, this week, I’ve finished the final edition of Mastodon Weekly! oh, effing awesome. (it’s a New Brunswick Museum insider: We have a mastodon in our museum, and we saw he had excellent bone & tusk structure. we decided he must have been a male mastodon model, and his name was ‘Joelle.’ the actual mastodon we have in our museum died after getting stuck in a mud pit, which acted very much like quicksand, meaning he could not get out. obviously, Joelle was the top male mastodon model in the world… and the second-best model, Enrique, partnered up with Millie, an arthropleura (millipede from the Pensylvanian geological period) to trick Joelle then push him into the big mud pit.) makes sense, right? but, um, I was going to upload the actual document to this blog, but apparantly it doesn’t meet wordpress security guidelines. whoops! well, hopefully you enjoyed that story.

If you were a full course meal what would you be?

Soup: Cheese & broccoli, perhaps?
Salad: This specialty salad my mom makes with blackberry dressing – HOLLA. sooooo good.
Meat: Some mandarin-glazed chicken breast (boneless and skinless of course!)
Dessert: My speciality dessert!!! Involving butterscotch pudding, cream and Skor bars … SO GOOD.

…and what complimentary beverage would you be? White wine, of course!

…Hope I didn’t make you too hungry!!! P.S. the humidity in Toronto is G.D. DEATHLY.

Joel
