’tis the weekend to be a slave to school, falalalalalalala
howdy. as you can see, there aren’t many thrilling updates from this weekend so far. I know I promised exciting updates in my last update, but I lie sometimes. whoops!
thursday – stayed in and slaved on my news & current affairs theory essay. well, actually, I just read the article (the 23-page one) and highlighted the important stuff, mainly because it was the wordiest shit EVER. “I do undoubtedly believe that the globalization of television is most certainly according to most a vast phenomeonon of ever-changing BLAH DEE &*$%ing BLAH”- ahem, you get the point. needless to say it was a time of thrills and chills.
friday – hit up the RAC before going off to CBC for the day, I have to be there 12:30 – 8PM now. boourns!!! we have a random 2 and a half hour break in the middle, so it’s really long. I mean, fun, but long, and not very useful when one is trying to get work done, son! and that night, you guessed it, another hot date with news & current affairs theory. I love midterm week.
saturday – checked out a few new songs, as I love to do, and then headed off to work from 1-6. saw some fun people – I actually thoroughly enjoy working, mainly because it’s “”"work”"” (standing at the front of the store and telling people to look at jeans is *not* work) and the people are really fun. and not gonna lie, it’s good on the ego. after work, started writing my actual essay after the damn reading was done – visited Martha at some point, and later on hit up Fran’s with sarah. I kind of have a love affair with their Monte Cristo sandwich … which is a BIG PROBLEMO. mainly because it’s three huge slices of bread fried in egg, with ham, turkey, and mozzarella cheese inside. amazingly good? um, yes. amazingly bad for you? YES. mainly because it’s served with homefries, AND I had the other half of Sarah’s sandwich. 7 and a half pieces of bread at 1AM? yes, please! sounds super-healthy to me! but it was fun times all the same.
annnd I just got back from the gym. huh. and now for tomorrow, I have to :
-conclude my 5-page essay;
-write a proposal for a major essay in Children’s Television Programming;
-re-write my English essay.
all for tomorrow, hooray! I would do the friday five, but I need to shower, annnd it’s one of those epic “if you could change ONE THING about your past, what would be and why?” weeks, and I’m not too keen on those. mainly because I feel like I’m writing a script for a soap opera when I do answer those things. hm … also, I’m going to be in a commercial! whether or not it’ll be aired on TV I don’t really know, but it’ll for sure be on the internet. I get to be a bartender, YEE HAW. more details to follow, y’all!
as for now, I’m peacing out. hope your weekend was far more thrilling than mine!
